DORSET COUNCIL has issued a Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the A352 at WOOL LEVEL CROSSING (in both directions), for a distance of approximately 20 metres on either side. The Notice is needed to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation between 19:00 and 23:59 on 22nd September 2026 and remain in force for five days, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 22nd September 2026.
This Notice will enable Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd safe access to carry out maintenance works.
